Chefs Knife w/ Birch Burl
Description
Crafted in our Chicago workshop, this 10” blade has been meticulously hand-forged from high-carbon 1095 steel. Its Wa style handle is elegantly fashioned from a very active pice of stabilized Birch Burl wood. The blade features a subtle S grind, meticulously sanded by hand and etched to produce warm smoky patina. This knife embodies elegance and sleekness, making it an indispensable tool for every kitchen.
Note: We think the patina is beautiful, unique and like a snowflake no two are alike. It’s a sign of a well-used, well-loved knife. The blade will develop a natural patina and darken with use, and it may also stain if acidic food residue is not promptly removed.
