This unique 9" blade is in forged by local blacksmiths in Sakai City, Osaka Japan with centuries-old blacksmithing methods. Expertly fashioned from White II steel and boasting a Wa Style handle made of Black Ash Burl creating a one of a kind Chefs Knife, that is an essential piece of kitchen.
Note: We think the patina is beautiful, unique and like a snowflake no two are alike. It’s a sign of a well-used, well-loved knife. The blade will develop a natural patina and darken with use, and it may also stain if acidic food residue is not promptly removed.
